Meet Us: Dylan Biggs

Dylan Biggs

Dylan Biggs is an American-Australian graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in History with honours in 2019, and began his Master of International Service at American University in Washington, DC the same year. His concentration in the Global Governance, Politics, and Security program is Global Security, with a focus on cybersecurity, emerging technology, and online radicalism. Dylan has interned abroad and in Washington, DC, spending time on Capitol Hill, at Hunt Alternatives, and working with Syrian migrants at Hummustown in Rome, Italy. With over a year and a half spent living and working abroad in France, Italy, and Australia, he plans to use these experiences to create a more robust and informed normative structure for activity in cyberspace. A deeper understanding of the dangers and consequences of the world’s haphazard approach to technology is needed, and Dylan hopes to be at the front of this emerging field.
