Taylor Fairless serves as a military advisor, where she advises a Member of Congress on the House Armed Services Committee on foreign policy, defense, homeland security, and veterans issues. Prior, she was the youngest serving Senior Legislative Analyst at the Pentagon in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. While at OSD, she worked in Legislative Affairs with the Personnel & Readiness, Strategic Communications, and Research & Engineering teams. She offers background in Russia hybrid warfare and maritime security in south Asia from her time as a Research Assistant at National Defense University and at the Center for International Maritime Security (CIMSEC), respectively. Taylor has collaborated with editors from the Atlantic, the Washington Post, and the New Yorker on foreign policy think-pieces for Oxford University, Columbia University, and UCLA.
