Corrado Chirico is a German-Italian graduate student at the Free University Berlin, Humboldt University and University of Potsdam. He is currently pursuing a joint Master´s degree in International Relations and his focus lies in Transatlantic Affairs, US-China relations and Chinese Foreign Policy.
However, with the high probability of a divided Congress in the next years, a continuation of this traditional divide over the role of the state will only make voters and lawmakers drift further apart and sabotage any concrete policies proposed by the future Biden Administration.
